About me
I am an Ethics & Governance Strategy Advisor (LLM) with over 18 years of experience in organisational ethics, integrity management and compliance. I support international companies, corporates and public organisations in building ethical cultures and embedding responsible decision-making across all levels of the organisation.
I’m certain of three things.
First: ethics and integrity are never finished.
Internally, organisations evolve, constantly. Externally, society moves even faster. Norms shift, values are renegotiated and expectations change. Organisations absorb these developments, and with every shift, new integrity risks and responsibilities emerge. This requires a conscious and well-considered approach to ethics and integrity. Within your approach you need to build a learning loop that enables reflection, adjustment and continuous improvement.
Second: there are far more opportunities than most organisations realise.
When ethics and integrity is embedded properly, it creates something powerful: a healthy, resilient organisation. Collaboration improves and trust and commitment increases. The result goes beyond compliance: it strengthens long-term performance and value creation.
Third: it’s not that complicated.
Strong ethics goes far beyond having a code of conduct or an annual e-learning. Real integrity lives in daily decisions, leadership behaviour, and the way people work together. Organisations need a coherent, solid long-term approach that fits their specific context: a clear vision, ambition, strong governance and practical implementation. It is not rocket science: with the right attention, consistency and practical wisdom, even complex challenges can be tackled.
